You agree to use the Service for:

• Improving the readability and natural flow of your own written content
• Personal, educational, or legitimate business purposes
• Lawful purposes in accordance with UK law and applicable regulations

You agree NOT to use the Service for:

• Any illegal activities or violation of applicable laws
• Creating misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful content
• Infringing upon intellectual property rights of third parties
• Distributing spam, malware, or engaging in malicious activities
• Circumventing technical limitations or security measures of the Service
• Reselling or redistributing the Service without authorisation

5.2 Purchases: Credits and subscriptions can be purchased through our website. All prices are displayed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

5.3 Refund Policy: Credits and subscriptions are delivered immediately upon payment. In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day cooling-off period is waived once you begin using the Service. No refunds will be provided after activation, except where required by law.

5.4 Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions renew automatically. Annual subscriptions provide the full credit allocation upfront. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges; existing credits remain valid until used.

5.5 Credit Expiry: Credits do not expire unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

6.1 Your Content: You retain all rights to the text you submit and the humanised output generated by the Service.

6.2 Our Service: All rights, titles, and interests in the Service, including software, algorithms, trademarks, and branding, remain the exclusive property of HumanWrite AI.

6.3 Licence Grant: You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your submitted text solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8.1 "As-Is" Service: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

8.2 No Guarantee of Results: We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Humanised text will meet specific quality requirements
• AI detectors will classify output as 100% human-written
• The Service will meet your particular needs or expectations

8.3 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.

8.4 User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the use of generated content and any consequences arising therefrom.

8.5 Consumer Rights: Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are liable for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse or breach of these terms, with or without prior notice.

10.1 Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.

10.2 Price Changes: Prices may be adjusted with at least 30 days' notice for existing subscribers.

10.3 Account Termination: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

12.1 Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

12.3 Alternative Dispute Resolution: You may also be entitled to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14.1 Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and HumanWrite AI regarding the use of the Service.

14.2 Severability: If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14.3 No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

14.4 Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these terms without our prior written consent.
